FESTIVAL T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

• The mural will fit our theme for the 2024 Festival: Ripples and Reflections: Water’s Transformative Impact on Community.

• Red Rock Arts Festival is September 27-29, 2024.

• Mural is approximately 90’ x 10’ along the Millcreek underpass at Main St.

• Budget is up to $8000, including labor and materials

• Applications open May 1, closing at midnight May 31, 2024. Artists will be notified by the end of July if their design is chosen.

• Design a ‘paint by number’ style mural to be painted by community members, is family friendly, is accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

• Outline and label the design prior to the community installation day.

• Painting all parts of the mural over 8 feet high.

• Facilitating community participation on the day of the festival.

• Retouching, and finishing, and sealing the mural after the community event.
